Aida, Touko's first show after her retirement from Takarazuka turns out to be a reproduction of 王家に捧ぐ歌　A Song for Kingdoms, written/directed by Kimura Shinji a.k.a. Kimushin and performed by Hoshigumi back in 2003 as Wataru's ohirome show.

The leads are :
Aida : Aran Kei

Arai Kei  is going to do a new musical "The Musical AIDA" and she will be playing the lead.
The show will run at Tokyo Kokusai Forum from Aug. 29 through Sept. 13, and at Umeda Arts Theater from Sept. 18 through Oct. 4.

Touko retired from Takarazuka yesterday and Haruno Sumire presented her the flowers from the 77th class.

March 9th was Aran Kei's last day with the Takarazuka Grand Theater.
A report  and photos on the Hoshigumi senshuuraku have been uploaded on the Sanspo site.

Touko wore a Hikonyan  ひこにゃん on her hair to complete the drag attire during the revue - Hikonyan is a popular feline character of her hometown Shiga Prefecture representing the region's pride ( Read more... )

As many suspected, Star Troupe top Aran Kei has announced that she is retiring at the end of the Tokyo run of her next main theater show, "My Dear Orleans/A Beintôt", 4/26/2009.

I think it's safe to expect a number of other Star Troupe retirement announcements over the next couple months, as many performers like to retire with their top star.
